I absolutely love Next for shopping, if I need a good handbag and good quality clothes then I always go shop there. Anyway Ive seen their make up for a while now but never purchased anything till a few weeks ago. I wouldn’t say their make up is too expensive just not sure why I bought a set of good quality brushes by Next for £8, then this blusher brick was £8 just by itself, very strange. I am excited to purchase a few more products like their lipsticks. I have one of their make up quads I bought the same time which I will get round to reviewing as well. Maybe their make up brushes too?
I would use this as a Highlighter and not a blusher because I am not a fan of shimmery blushers neither shimmer bronzers. I like mine to be Matte. I am sooo fussy when it comes to highlighters and I own so many but I have instantly fell in love with the pigment of this the first swatch (index finger) is what I have been wearing and it lasts all day. It has a nice soft texture as well so it blends great! One thing I like my highlighter to do is last longer than a few hours and this managed longer. It beats the MUA one I reviewed last month. (Sorry MUA)
Ive recently been loving all the new products by MUA, the quality is just getting better and better. Ive blogged about their Hydro Primer and setting powder before saying how much I love them and pretty much use them every day.
Today I am just talking about the Highlighter since Ive only been using this so far. I am a huge fan of MUA’S highlighters anyway such as their Undress ones. I think they are so pigmented and lasts well on. So I had to get this once it was released. The packaging is super sleek and stunning, its the same as their sculpt Bronzer one they released last year. I purchased this around a week ago and Ive worn it every day since. On a very sunny day my friend noticed I was wearing it and complimented how nice this highlighter was so I am very happy that it lived up to its expectations.
It has two parts, one being the strobe/Highlighter and the powder to set it. I’m impressed that its very easy to blend and also doesn’t remove my foundation under it, Ive had previous experiences with my Benefit one removing patches of my foundation away. This MUA highlighter is also very build-able so you can wear it subtle or very bold and glowing.
This is £5.00 in Superdrug.
