Make Up Gallery are launching their new matte lip glosses, contour kits and eyeshadow pencils. I am very happy to be sharing my reviews on some of these products.
My review on the contour kits will be in a separate post. I dont know the exact date of when they will be released but they’re very good products so worth the wait.
First of all lets start with the Matte Pout lipglosses
I am a huge fan of matte lips and its on trend this autumn so make up gallery releasing this product is a winner. I love the range of colours they are bringing out. They are the sort of colours you could wear from day to night. My favourite is the shade Purple Pop.
I wasn’t a massive fan of the shade Latte, I found it was too sticky on the lips and it really did not suit my skin tone. I looked pale so I think it would suit someone with a darker complexion? The shade Vintage Pink had a nice shimmer to it which is different in a matte lip gloss. Shades Purple Pop and Cherry Pop were my favourites, they applied evenly and both dried matte. I actually wore Purple Pop out which is way out of my comfort zone to wear a shade that bright but it really suited me. It didn’t have the longest pay off but I was eating an hour or two after I applied it, I think if I had not eaten right away it would of lasted a lot longer.
Now to the jumbo eye shadow pencils
I am a huge fan of these and will be wearing them again and again. I found the shades Smokey grey and Antique Gold both very pigmented and blendable. Shades Frost Shimmer and Pearl Sheen would be great for the brow bone or the inner corner of the eyes.
The eye shadow pencil packaging is really nice and simple. I normally wouldn’t use eye shadow pencils but since using these I am super excited to try others, I think you get better colour pay off with them. I hope Make Up gallery release more shades *Hint hint*
